High school youth heading to Colorado in July 2013 Sky Ranch Wilderness Trip – Saturday, July 20th to Saturday, July 27th St. Paul high school youth will be traveling to Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp this July for a week of wilderness backpacking and camping, growing closer to God and building relationships with other St. Paul youth. We will depart Saturday, July 20th in 15-passenger vans. We will spend the night at a Lutheran church in Nebraska that night, then continue traveling to camp on Sunday, July 21st to arrive in the early evening. Monday through Thursday, our group will divide into 3 groups along with 2 Wilderness First Aid certified Sky Ranch guides for a 4-day/3-night wilderness camping experience in one of the surrounding national parks in northern Colorado. All 3 groups will return to camp on Thursday evening to share experiences as a large group back at Sky Ranch. We will depart camp on Friday morning, spend the night again at a church in Nebraska, then continue the journey home to arrive back in Wheaton on Saturday evening, July 27th. Additional details - including departure and arrival times, what to pack, etc. – will be shared at the Pre-Trip Meeting for Wilderness Trip participants and parents on Sunday, June 9th. Required

Connections headed east this year, July 16 - 22, to serve communities in the rolling Appalachian hills of Raleigh County, West Virginia Through the guidance of the ecumenical missions organization YouthWorks, our group brought the light and love of Christ to Raleigh County residents primarily by serving local children through a "Kids Club" and completing home improvement projects. |

| July 23 through 31, twenty two St. Paul youth and four adults journeyed to Atlantic Mountain Ranch, a Lutheran camp in the Black Hills of South Dakota, to participate in a Servant Camp experience. We are so grateful for these young followers of Jesus who are helping to build homes for families in need. | |||||||||
