This summer, July 26-August 1, 15 St. Paul high school youth and four adults are journeying to Lantern Hill in Ensenada, Mexico, to participate in a week of learning, service, and growing closer to God.  We are so grateful for these young followers of Jesus who will be building relationships with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and continuing on their faith journey during this week immersed in another culture.

Required Trip Forms
This is the first of three fundraisers for the 2014 summer trip, and we need to raise $4000 through stock sales. Your help is needed to make this experience possible for St. Paul’s high school youth!  Please consider ‘taking stock’ in St. Paul’s youth by buying at least one stock share to support this faith-transforming trip.  Each stock share is also a ticket to the Stockholders Dinner – a thank you-meal served by trip participants to be held on
Sunday, September 28th.  Shares are $25 each.  Children under 12 may attend the dinner for free.  By purchasing stock, you’re not just supporting a trip; you’re supporting the faith formation of young people who will grow in their Christian faith during this week of servant learning, and return to share God’s love within the St. Paul community and beyond! 2013 Sky Ranch Wilderness Trip – Saturday, July 20th to Saturday, July 27th

St. Paul high school youth traveled to Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp July 2013 for a week of wilderness backpacking and camping, growing closer to God and building relationships with other St. Paul youth.

They departed Saturday, July 20th in 15-passenger vans. They spent the night at a Lutheran church in Nebraska, then continued traveling to camp on Sunday, July 21st to arrive in the early evening.

Monday through Thursday, our group divided into 3 groups along with 2 Wilderness First Aid certified Sky Ranch guides for a 4-day/3-night wilderness camping experience in one of the surrounding national parks in northern Colorado. All 3 groups will returned to camp on Thursday evening to share experiences as a large group back at Sky Ranch.
We departed camp on Friday morning, spend the night again at a church in Nebraska, then continued the journey home and arrived back in Wheaton on Saturday evening, July 27th.

Mission Trip
to West Virginia!

Connections headed east this year, July 16 - 22, to serve communities in the rolling Appalachian hills of Raleigh County, West Virginia

Through the guidance of the ecumenical missions organization YouthWorks, our group brought the light and love of Christ to Raleigh County residents primarily by serving local children through a "Kids Club" and completing home improvement projects.
